EMH becomes a 'One Stop Shop'

Help is at hand for people currently living in the District of Ashfield who are looking for affordable homeownership!

East Midlands Housing has now been appointed the ‘HomeBuy Agent’ for low cost home ownership schemes in the 3 counties of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire.

By talking to ‘EMHomeBuy’, prospective purchasers can find out about government sponsored homeownership initiatives, and if they are eligible for help through any of the following schemes:

Open Market HomeBuy: certain % loans towards the purchase price of a property for sale on the open market (Please not funds are very limited for this scheme)

New Build HomeBuy: HomeBuy purchase a share in a new home and pay rent on the rest

As a ‘One Stop Shop’ for low cost home ownership EMHomeBuy will:

Offer advice and information on current and forthcoming homebuy schemes.
Be responsible for initially accepting applications from eligible applicants
Nominate eligible persons to other Housing Associations that meet their need as and when applicable.
