The Retail Floorspace Survey, which is undertaken on an annual basis, is intended to monitor changes within the retail sector in the district.

It provides an up to date, full listing of units (and individual floor spaces) located within the district and gives brief details of forthcoming developments. The survey will also review the current shopping area boundaries and suggest any areas that require further investigation.
