ACTION ALL THE WAY AT ASHFIELD SHOW 2007!
||There’s a huge variety of attractions lined up for all the family to enjoy at Ashfield Show, which takes place at Lawn Park, Sutton in Ashfield on August 11th.
A full and varied programme has been put together for this year’s Show – the theme for which is a Multicultural Celebration.
Among the exciting acts appearing in the Main Arena will be the Chinese Acrobatic Company, who will present a colourful display including a Lion Dance and Dragon Dance, martial arts and acrobatics and much more.

Also appearing in the Arena will be the Spectacular Knights of the Crusades, who will be recreating epic legendary tales from the Middle Ages – the Legend of King Arthur and the story of Richard the Lionheart.
Dressed in authentic costumes and armour, they will amaze audiences of all ages with their heroic fighting displays and dazzling pageantry – guaranteed to transport visitors young and old back to medieval times as the audience is invited to become squires and village maidens and join in the fun!
There will also be an ‘International’ flavour to the show's music stage – which traditionally caters to a wide variety of musical tastes.
One of the highlights for this year will be an appearance by Siyaya Arts, an African company founded in one of Bulawayo’s oldest townships.
Siyaya have performed at events all over the world – and recently appeared at both the Edinburgh Festival and the LIVE 8 concert at the Eden Project, Cornwall.
