The project culminated at the recent ‘Apple Day’ at Portland Park, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, where children and adults were asked to contribute to a banner.

This wonderfully colourful organic mosaic was created by Year 4 Pupils at Hucknall Primary School whilst on a visit to the John Godber Centre.

Other pieces were made in partnership with Greenwood Community Forest and Kirkby Woodhouse School and the 1st Huthwaite Scout Group.
