The first three teams in the Year 5/6 Girls and Boys races will now represent Ashfield in the Cross Country Relays at Ashfield School later this month.

Results were as follows:

Girls Years 3 / 4 race

Individual: 1st Rimini Milaro (National), 2nd Georgina Beighton (Bagthorpe), 3rd Emilia Powell (National).

Team event: 1st National ‘A’, 2nd Bagthorpe, 3rd National ‘B’

Boys Years 3 / 4 race

Individual: 1st Thomas Eastwood (National), 2nd Dominic Mann (National), 3rd Thomas Bennett (Orchard).

Team event: 1st National ‘A’, 2nd Orchard, 3rd Underwood

Girls Years 5 / 6 race

Individual: 1st Kayleigh Ross (Forest Glade), 2nd Caprice Milaro (National), 3rd Catherine Spurr (Underwood)

Team event: 1st National, 2nd orchard, 3rd Bagthorpe

Boys Years 5 / 6 race

Individual 1st Thomas Howarth (National), 2nd Ryan Holton (Annie Holgate), 3rd Liam Conner (Orchard).

Team event: 1st National, 2nd Underwood, 3rd Hillside
