Be a Responsible Dog Owner
||Ashfield District Council and Kirkby Neighbourhood Management are to encourage responsible dog ownership by holding a FREE microchipping surgery later this month.
Held at Coxmoor Community Centre, Kirkby, on January 18th, the event will run between 9.30am and 12.30pm, with Microchipping available by prior appointment only.
Microchipping a dog enables it to be quickly identified and returned to its owner should it ever become lost and will be carried out by Ashfield District Council’s Dog Warden.
In addition to the Microchipping service, the event will also feature free poop scoop bags, pet goodie bags and loads of information about how to look after your pet, including spaying and neutering.
Please note - Microchipping is by appointment only, and places are limited. Microchip bookings can be made through Kirkby Neighbourhood Management on 01623 723355 or by visiting the office at Station Street, Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
