As part of Sutton Town Centre Improvement Works being undertaken in partnership with the Alliance SSP, Ashfield District Council, and Nottinghamshire County Council, a section of Forest Street from its junction with Outram Street to its junction with Parliament Street and Outram Street from its junction with Forest Street to its junction with Portland Street will be closed between 7.30am on 4th February 2008 and 5.00pm on 15th February 2008 while a raised plateau is being constructed at the Pedestrian Crossing.
