Saturday 12th will see events at Portland Square, Sutton-in-Ashfield and Market Place, Hucknall between 11am and 3pm.

These will begin with a high profile “stunt” to highlight the problems caused by litter, and will then feature giveaways and interaction with the public.

Similar events will be happening in Somerfields Supermarket, Selston, and Market Place, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, starting at 11am until 1pm.

All the events will be staffed by the newly formed Neighbourhood Teams who will be available to advise and inform residents about their new working practices.

On Sunday 13th, the roadshows will move onto the District’s Parks, where the public will be invited to enjoy the green spaces, and see what’s on offer.

A series of Bowls, Tennis and Golf Tournaments will be taking place at the Lawn, Sutton-in-Ashfield; Kingsway Park, Kirkby-in-Ashfield; Titchfield Park, Hucknall and Selston Golf Course.

All the tournaments are Free to enter and feature some exciting prizes for the winners.
