The Clubs’ achieved Silver Awards, with Sutton Harriers also achieving Sport England’s Club Mark, which the hockey clubs’ are also well on their way to achieving.

Clubs are supported through the accreditation process by Ashfield District Council’s Sports Development Unit on a one to one basis.

Debbie Aspinall, from the Hockey Clubs, said ‘ The local scheme is great as it tailored to club needs and provides a working document to use in everyday practice. It has also helped us move closer to achieving Sport England Club Mark.’
