Young people in the area have been involved in planning the improvements to the skate park and the event is being held to recognise their work and show the plans for its further development.

All attractions and activities are FREE and the event is open to all young people in the community.

Have a go on the mobile climbing wall, try your hand at tag’n with a graffiti artist, take part in the skate /bike competition come and show of your moves with the live DJ and music or just drop in to chat with Youth Service, Face it and Ashfield District Council Park Activity Leader, Josh Bond.

Other ‘Schools Out’ events are also being planned by Ashfield District Council for the summer holiday period with the aim to engage young people in positive activities during the holidays whilst making the most of the Districts parks and open spaces.
