||
Sport Relief - Rise to the Challenge
Date: 10th March 2008

World class athletes will be joining with runners for Ashfield’s “Sutton Harriers Sport Relief Mile” this Sunday at Ashfield School.

David Hughes, 110m Hurdles European U23 champion and 2006 Commonwealth games finalist will be there, alongside local heroes Sam Hynd, World Record holder and Beijing medal contender in Disability Swimming and Jake Buxton, captain of Mansfield Town Football Club.

The stars will start the first mile at 10.30am and be in attendance to sign autographs and answer questions throughout the event.

There is still chance to sign up to take part at www.sportrelief.com

If you don’t want to take part in the one, three or six mile course, there are lots of other fun family activities being organised on the day, between 10am and 2pm, including crazy golf, circus skills, “Beat the Brocky”, prizes for best fancy dress contestants and a bouncy castle. Lunches and snacks will also be available at the ATE Centre café on the school site.

The Sainsbury’s sponsored event is part of Sutton Harriers’ Centenary year.

Why not come along and enjoy the fun and support a very worthy cause?
