Exhibit your Flowers and Vegetables at Ashfield Show!

||
Date: 1st May 2008

Entry forms are now available for submitting entries to the popular horticultural section at Ashfield Show 2008.

With entry free to all classes, there’s loads of categories to choose from, whether your green fingers prefer growing beautiful roses or enormous over-sized onions!

All entries put forward by Ashfield residents will be considered for the “Grown in Ashfield” trophy, which also carries prize money of £50 – so it really is worth having a go.

And with the Ashfield Show celebrating its 30th anniversary this year organizers are hoping for a bumper number of entries.

“The Ashfield Show actually started off as a Horticultural Show, so it has always been a central element of the event,” a spokeswoman said.

“It would be really wonderful to see a record breaking number of exhibits at this year’s extra special Show.”

Flower and Vegetable Show schedules are available from Melanie Jackson at Ashfield District Council, telephone 01623 450000 ext 5092 or you can request one by email m.jackson@ashfield-dc.gov.uk
