Presentation for 175 Years Long Service

Five Ashfield District Council Employees who have clocked up a massive 175 years service between them recently received long service awards.

The group was presented with certificates marking each of their 35 year service from Chairman of the Council, Cllr. Harry Toseland and Alan Mellor, the Council’s Chief Executive.

Those receiving awards were: Michael Smith of Teversal, who is employed as an Area Building Control Officer; John Whitehead of Sutton, a Senior Accountancy Assistant; Chief Accountant Steve Guy of Rainworth and gardeners Reginald Tuckwood and Royce Muxlow, both of Hucknall.

Councillor Toseland thanked them all for their hard work and wished them well.
