Neighbourhood Charter
||Since distributing its ground breaking Neighbourhood Charter in July, Ashfield District Council has answered over 2,600 service requests, covering a wide range of highway, environmental and waste collection issues.
This represents a 70% increase in service requests on the previous month.
Head of Neighbourhood Services, Edd de Coverly, said he was delighted with the public response following the launch of the Neighbourhood Service Teams.
“We are delighted by the fantastic response from members of the public and I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to tell us about the issues in their area. Our teams are working extremely hard to put these issues right as quickly as they can and by working together we can make Ashfield a place to be proud of.
The Neighbourhood Charter is a document setting out what the public can expect from environmental, highway and waste collection service.
