A spokesperson said the blaze – the fourth one this year – was the latest of a series of fires on the site and that a decision had been taken to close the site.

“Thankfully no-one was injured on this occasion, but a decision has been taken to close these facilities and look at finding an alternative location for the facilities,” he said.
