‘Sing the Shows’ is a singing workshop and performance day taking place in the Festival Hall, Kirkby in Ashfield on Saturday 9th May 2009 between 10.00am and 4.30pm.

It will feature songs from a selection of popular musicals, including: West Side Story, Grease, High School Musical, Hairspray and Carousel. The event, organised by Ashfield District Council Arts Development in association with Nottingham Choral Trust, will be led by the well respected singing coach Matt Beckingham and will include workshop sessions, followed by an informal afternoon performance to friends and family.
