The scheme promotes professional performances to take place in smaller venues such as community centres, social clubs and schools. The good news is that the performances are subsidised, making it possible to stage a wide range of live dramatic, comedy and musical performances for audiences that would normally be unable to benefit from them.

The scheme can also help raise funds for community projects, explore issues that might be relevant to local people and bring communities together.
