The Community Waste and Recycling Team based at the Depot site in Sutton-in-Ashfield decided to give Christmas card sending a miss this year and donated the money into a collection to buy toys for the Children at Kingsmill Hospital instead.

The team raised an impressive £170 between them and this becomes the third year running that they have collected for the hospital.

Phil Carlisle and Phil Diver from the team played Santa and delivered the presents to the Children's Ward.
