The groups are currently making plans for the 2011 activities and want more people to get involved and join in.

Last year, the groups decided that there should be more excursions and members enjoyed trips to Bridlington, Lincoln, Chester and Springfields. All of the trips are heavily subsidised thanks to successfully obtaining lottery funding which makes them affordable for those with low incomes.

Each group hold regular monthly meetings where members get together and discuss topical issues, often with guest speakers followed by question and answer sessions.

They are a fantastic way to meet new people of a similar age group in a fun and friendly setting and provide an opportunity to get out and about.
