Rory Langham of Fantasy Fineline Tattoo Studios, Outram Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield appeared at Mansfield Magistrates Court on 30th June 2010 charged with two offences.

The second being that on 4th August 2009, he failed to comply with a notice served on him by Ashfield District Council which required him to give information relevant to a fly-tipping incident which had occurred on Homewood Drive, Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
Langham had previously pleaded not guilty to both charges at a hearing on 14th April 2010. In court on 30th June, he pleaded guilty to the second charge of not complying with a notice and repeated his plea of not guilty to the first charge.
Langham was convicted of both offences and was fined £425 plus costs, making a total of £890.
Councilor Wilmott commented: “Ashfield District Council understands that residents are concerned about littering and fly-tipping and we take this very seriously. The successful outcome of this trial should be a warning to those who fail to take responsibility for their waste.”
