The show, held on Saturday 7th August at Sutton Lawn, will feature talent from the District, including the Selston based indie group 'Tastebuds' and up and coming Kirkby boy band 'X-pos3.

The music stage is set to get off to a rousing start from local boys 'Planet Friday' with their heady mix of original songs and reworking of rock standards.

The afternoon features sounds from 'Swansong' with their stunning female lead singer Karen Gilmore, ending with the Blues Brothers inspired band Blujaks.

New for this year, is the addition of budding young stars from the Vox Factor. This is an Arts Partnership Nottinghamshire funded project in partnership with Ashfield District Council Arts Development, focused on developing the vocal talents and wellbeing of young people from across the District.

The Dance Arena will be a spectacular showcase for dance groups from around the local community. Pupils from Ashfield School will be performing dance, musical theatre and vocal pieces from their latest production, followed by Brunito’s Salsa Dance Show.

Local youth groups from Skegby and Sutton will be demonstrating Street Dance, Contemporary Dance and Dance Drama Pieces. Kirkby Dance Academy and Syncapation Dance School will be showcasing performances. The Dance Arena will also give the public the chance to dance with taster sessions and workshops.
