A Taste Of Brazil Comes To Ashfield

||
Date: 10th June 2010

Are you a fan of the Latin American music used on dance shows such as Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing on Ice?

Ashfield District Council is giving people the chance to come along to a fun one day Samba workshop. The workshop will introduce people to all those catchy Latin rhythms played on a variety of fabulous percussion instruments, followed by a performance to family and friends.

The workshop takes place on Sunday 18th July from 10:00am at Festival Hall, Kirkby-in-Ashfield. The final performance to family and friends will begin at 4.30pm.

Everyone is welcome from the age of 8 upwards, however, children under 11 years must be accompanied by an adult. There will be a small charge of £1 payable on the day.

The Samba day is sure to appeal to individuals, groups and families alike so advance booking is essential. To reserve a place contact John Tattersfield on:01623 457249.
