They were nominated for the award at the recent Local Authority Building Control Regional Awards held at Pride Park, Derby, by Richard Scott, Ashfield District Council's Principal Building Control Officer. The award is for the best social housing scheme within the East Midlands.

Amber Valley BC, who partnered with Peveril Homes, undertook the plan assessment under the national partnering scheme and Ashfield DC's building control team carried out the site inspections. The scheme is a high quality traditionally built mixed development of houses and apartments constructed for Derwent Living.

Peveril Homes will now be entered into the national awards to be held later in the year and Ashfield District Councils Building Control team would like to wish them every success with their nomination.
