Entrance Improvements For Local Park
||Ashfield District Council is due to start works in late April to improve the main visitor entrance to Brierley Forest Park, which is located off Skegby Road in Huthwaite.
The work will include the removal of part of a raised timber plant bed and the installation of a new pedestrian access ramp.
The small tarmac car park at the end of Skegby Road will be closed to visitors for the proposed four week duration of the works. Alternative car parking for visitors will be available on the overflow car park.
The car park works forms part of the Council's Area Improvement Plan for Sutton and its continuing commitment to improving this award winning Green Flag park.
