The work included the removal of part of a raised timber plant bed and the installation of a new pedestrian access ramp.

The small tarmac car park at the end of Skegby Road which has been closed for the duration of the works has now been reopened to visitors. The raised beds will be planted up in the autumn with new shrubs.

The car park works form part of the Council's Area Improvement Plan for Sutton and its continuing commitment to improving this award winning Green Flag park.
