The children were excited to be in the Council Chamber where Council meetings are held and were greeted by Chairman, Councillor Mick Parker.

Councillor Parker explained to the children how the Council Chamber is used to make important decisions affecting them, their families and their community.

The pupils were very eager to ask the Chairman questions about his role and gained a very useful insight into how their local Council operates.
