Women Who Do
||Ashfield District Council has secured external funding from the Coalfields Regeneration Trust and East Midlands Development Agency to provide a new programme of local, structured and flexible support aimed at women in our communities.
The project, being branded ‘Women Who Do’ will provide a range of activities aimed at women who might be considering change and need some help in deciding or choosing the right pathway for the future.
Women from Ashfield, Mansfield or Bolsover who would appreciate some help to move forward with future career, training or enterprise plans, changing direction or setting personal goals should consider getting on board with the programme.
A project opening event is taking place on Friday 24th September between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm at the Summit Centre, Pavilion Road, Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
As well as a taster to the programme, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet like minded women in similar situations in a relaxed environment, a chance to share ideas and learn from each other and promises to be inspiring, creative and fun.
Places must be registered and anyone wishing to attend should contact the Economic Regeneration Team at Ashfield District Council on 01623 457303.
