The year nine students participating in the ‘Make a Team Joint Opera’ are from Kirkby College, Sutton Centre Community College and Quarrydale School.

The project has been funded by Ashfield District Council, Nottinghamshire County Council and the three participating schools. 

The workshops have been broad based performance workshops, working towards the final “Show & Tell” performance on Thursday 7th April at Kirkby College, Tennyson Street, Kirkby-in-Ashfield at 2:10pm.

There is full participation from the students as this has been about them creating something that is uniquely theirs with full support from a team of professionals and gives them the opportunity to do song writing, team work and explore different skills.
