Grant Aid For Ashfield's Infrastructure Organisations

||
The Council has funded several main recipients of grant aid in the past, mainly infrastructure type organisations, to deliver specific public services such as transport, general and specialist advice, community resources and events.
Due to a Grant Review accepted by Cabinet in July 2011, the Council is changing the way that these grants are usually administered and issued.

A formal application and appraisal system will be implemented from 2011; only voluntary and community groups/organisations who will offer a service that will benefit the infrastructure of Ashfield are eligible to apply.

An application form and terms and conditions are available from Gillian Welch, Senior Community Development Officer by telephoning 01623-457535 or by emailing g.welch@ashfield-dc.gov.uk – please note that this new process is still being tested for accuracy.

Applications must be submitted by 30 September 2011.

There is no guarantee that any applicants will be issued with a grant from 2012-2013 as this will be dependent on Council budgeting processes.  Please be aware that decisions may not be agreed until April 2012.

If successful, an offer letter and service level agreement will follow.
