Ashfield District Council and Notts Wildlife Trust are teaming up to present this year's Big Draw extravaganza.
Ashfield District Council and Notts Wildlife Trust are teaming up to present this year's Big Draw extravaganza.
The event, due to take place at the Portland Park Visitors Centre, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, on Saturday 15th October between 10.00am
and 4.00pm, will be using the theme ‘the beauty on our doorstep’.
Participants will be encouraged to take inspiration from the features in and around the park environment as a starting point for their creations.
Hosting the event at the Portland Park Visitors Centre also gives an opportunity for the community to experience at first hand its excellent facilities and meet some of the Notts Wildlife Trust’s members and staff.
The Big Draw will be led by the experienced local artist Jonathan Annable and is open to anyone over the age of 12 years. To book a free place telephone the Art Development Officer on 01623 457249 or email j.tattersfield@ashfield-dc.gov.uk.
