Kirkby-in-Ashfield's West Park Community Group has been celebrating the news that it has been awarded £49,999 from the Community Spaces Programme of the National Lottery to implement improvements to the existing play area and install new play equipment and features at West Park/’Greeny Pitch’ end of Forster Street in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
Kirkby-in-Ashfield's West Park Community Group has been celebrating the news that it has been awarded £49,999 from the Community Spaces Programme of the National Lottery to implement improvements to the existing play area and install new play equipment and features at West Park/’Greeny Pitch’ end of Forster Street in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
Ashfield District Council will also contribute £30,000 towards the project, which is due to start on site in the New year
with a view to being complete by Easter 2012.
