The project is a joint initiative between Ashfield District Council, Ashfield Homes, and Nottinghamshire Police as part of the approach to develop Respect for Ashfield and aims to deliver a £10,000 community project to reduce anti-social behaviour in the Carsic area.

A drop-in day is being held on Tuesday 25th January which will help form part of the action plan for the project.

On the day, information will be gathered on the main issues and hotspot areas that residents feel are most important to them and ways of tackling anti-social behaviour will be explored.

The sessions will take place on Tuesday 25th January from 9.30 – 16.30 at The Community of Christ Church, The Oval and from 17.30 – 19.30 at St Marys Court, The Oval.

There will be representatives from Ashfield District Council, the Police and Ashfield Homes who will be available to discuss any neighbourhood issues.

A free buffet lunch will be provided between 11.30 and 13.30 with tea and coffee available all day. There is also free transport available from various pick up points on the day.

For more information or to arrange a pick-up please contact: Di Wilkinson on 01623 457428 or by e-mail on d.wilkinson@ashfield-dc.gov.uk
