Holocaust Memorial Day
||Ashfield District Council will be marking Holocaust Memorial Day 2011 with the planting of an Oak tree at Brierley Forest Park on 27th January, 2011 at 11:30am.
The Memorial Day and commemorative tree planting is part of a National Event to remember the victims and survivors of the Holocaust and other genocides.
In addition, an exhibition and film will be available for viewing at Brierley Forest Visitors’ Centre throughout the week – 24th to 28th January – during the venue's opening hours which are Tuesday to Friday 10.30am to 3.30pm and Saturday-Sunday 11.00am-1.30pm. Please note that the Centre is closed on Monday.
All attendees are advised to wear suitable footwear.
