Get Involved In Kirkby's 2012 Christmas Festivities

Discussions are already underway for next year's Kirkby Christmas Celebrations and Ashfield District Council is keen to hear from groups in the community who would like to be involved in this year's planning and delivery of the event.

The Council hopes to set up a working group to move the event forward and deliver a more traditional Christmas family event owned by the local community.

Councillor Warren Nuttall of Ashfield District Council said: “Kirkby deserves a Christmas celebration of quality which the whole family can enjoy. We will work with the community to ensure that this is achieved in 2012.”
