Housing Benefit

Houses

Housing Benefit gives help with the payment of rent to a private landlord, housing association or for an Ashfield Homes property. It cannot help with mortgage repayments or rent payable on business premises.

Council Tax Benefit

Council Tax benefit is paid to help with payment of your Council Tax. Any benefit awarded is deducted from your Council Tax account together with any other discounts which you may also qualify for. Only the people named on your Council Tax bill can claim.

Second Adult Rebate

Second Adult Rebate is another benefit which you may be able to claim to help with payment of your Council Tax. It is not based on your income but on the gross income of other adults (not your partner) who share your household.
