||If you carry on the business of tattooing, electrolysis or acupuncture in the district of Ashfield you must be registered
with Ashfield District Council. Registration is required for the premise and for any person that carries on the practice
of tattooing, electrolysis or acupuncture. Upon registration a certificate of registration will be issued and this should
be displayed on the premise. An officer from the council will visit the premise to ensure that they comply with the requirements
of both the Act and the local byelaws

What happens next?
Once your completed application form has been received with the appropriate fee, the licensing section will arrange for an inspection to be carried out by an environmental health officer.
A person registered under the above Act must keep a copy of the certificate of registration prominently displayed at the place where that practice or business is carried out.
