The first point of contact for investors, the Inward Investment and Business Support Team, can introduce a comprehensive package of support to help make it easy for companies who wish to relocate or expand in Ashfield.

The Team can provide information to both existing and potential businesses on a wide range of issues including the availability of land and premises, financial benefits and information on the local economy. They offer one point of contact for all potential investors and can provide links to other public and private sector organisations across the District.

Availability of Land and Premises – The Inward Investment and Business Support Team deal with day to day commercial property enquiries from companies wishing to expand or relocate into the District. The Team takes a wide range of enquiries, from smaller companies to the larger inward investor.

By using our regionally linked property database, it is possible to tailor a company's requirements to their specific needs, by looking at the property type, size, location, etc. The database holds a whole host of industrial and commercial properties, including Ashfield District Council and private owned.

By achieving an excellent working relationship with the various developers and agents, it ensures that they keep their finger on the pulse of all new developments in the area.

Aftercare Service – The Inward Investment and Business Support Team aims to support inward investors once in place within their chosen location. This help can range from introductions to partner organisations through to hand-holding the client in terms of support packages, general business advice or any questions they may have relating to settling into the District.

The Team is there to provide all the support the customer may need and can make the whole relocating process easier.
