Enterprise in Schools

Ashfield District Council, realising the importance to industry of linking businesses with schools, works closely with partners in organising the Enterprise in Schools event which is held annually.

Enterprise is becoming an increasingly important aspect of school life and our previous events have been well attended with very positive feedback from pupils who found it a worthwhile experience in planning their careers.

Many young people across the district aren't aware of the range of businesses located here or of the opportunities that are available to them when considering their future. We are therefore encouraging as many businesses from across the district as possible to become involved with our next event in order to help raise aspirations and promote a culture of enterprise amongst our young people - the future workforce.
