Community Safety
||Policing the Community
Nottinghamshire Police serve a diverse population of more than one million people living in Nottinghamshire's towns and villages and the cosmopolitan city and conurbation of Nottingham, the regional capital of the East Midlands. For non-emergency enquiries call 0300 300 99 99.
If you live on the boundaries of Ashfield, you might find it more appropriate to contact Derbyshire Constabulary instead on 0345 123 33 33.
Do not use non-emergency numbers in an emergency - always dial 999 if you require urgent assistance.

CCTV
Ashfield District Council have installed CCTV equipment in the centres of Kirkby, Sutton and Hucknall. The cameras are monitored at a central control room and should make a big contribution to reducing criminal behaviour, as well as giving the public an increased sense of security when visiting town centres in the District.
