The Council was bequeathed a sum of money in the Will of the late Harold Farr.  Mr. Farr’s main interests involved helping young people and outdoor activities and in order that this can be reflected it has been decided to allocate the interest arising from the bequest to a fund which will be allocated annually.

Persons under the age of 25, residing in the Ashfield area are invited to apply by letter, for financial assistance in respect of any undertaking which aids or promotes the participation of young people in sporting/cultural activities.

Anyone interested in applying should forward details of their proposal, including financial details, so that the realistic merits of the applications can be compared.
