Ashfield District Council's Corporate Plan 2008/09 to 2011/12
Front Cover of the Corporate Plan 2008/09 to 2011/12

“The Corporate Plan shows the council’s ambitions for the four years ahead. It is a combination of the Cabinet’s aims and the public’s expectations,” said Cllr Austin Rathe, Deputy Leader of the Council.

“We have consulted extensively with the public, and the Corporate Plan clearly shows how we are going to respond to the things which concern our residents”.

The Corporate Plan is set out in four distinct themes:

As well as the massive investment in the Environment, there are also plans for a £13m scheme which will revitalise Hucknall town centre, with Kirkby’s town centre to also be redeveloped.

A further £200,000 has been earmarked for improvements to Hucknall Leisure Centre and £500,000 for improving the Council’s public assets.

The Corporate Plan includes a companion document which details the council’s performance against all of its performance indicators as well as providing national figures which allow us to compare our performance with that of all other district councils.
