Performance Plans

Every year the council has to publish a Best Value Performance Plan.

performance plansThe Plan sets out what the Council's objectives are, what it hopes to achieve by meeting those objectives, how it is currently performing and how it has performed in the past.

The Plan includes a companion document which details the council’s performance against all of its performance indicators as well as providing national figures which allow us to compare our performance with that of all other district councils.

Since 2005 the requirements have been streamlined and the Government now accept the council’s annual corporate plan as meeting the statutory requirement - providing that it contains the necessary information for the Government to monitor performance.

The Performance Plan must be published by 30th June each year.
