Voting

If you cannot attend the polling station on an election day, you may nominate another person (called a proxy) to vote on your behalf. The proxy must be eligible to vote in the election themselves in order to act on behalf of another person.

The deadline for receipt of proxy applications is six working days before an election.

If you wish to apply for a proxy vote, you must complete an application form and return it to the council offices
