Ashfield District Council works with Environment and Business Partnerships to provide farmers with events to find out more about CONSERVATION and DIVERSIFICATION on your farm.

The series of events for 2005 included:

• "Historic Environment” – Understand how important the archaeological and historic features on your land are to our national heritage and the environment with Elaine Willett, Nottinghamshire County Council Environment

• "England Woodland Grant Scheme” – Learn more about this important scheme - Chris Rider, Forestry Commission

• "Cut your energy bills” – Create you own energy with a Wind Turbine - presented by Iskra Wind Turbines
