POLICIES CONTAINED IN ASHFIELD LOCAL PLAN REVIEW ADOPTED NOVEMBER 2002.
The Ashfield Local Plan Review, Adopted November 2002, retained development plan status for a period of three years from the commencement date set out in the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004. Where it has not been feasible to replace these policies within the three year period, the Secretary of State may extend the policies set out in the development plan beyond the three years (known as ‘saved’ policies).
The Secretary of State has determined that the policies set out below are ‘saved’ in respect of the Ashfield Local Plan Review Adopted November 2002. These policies continue to apply to the consideration of planning applications within the District.
Strategic Policies : ST1, ST2, ST3 & ST4
Environment Policies : EV1, EV2, EV4, EV5, EV6 ,EV8, EV10, EV11, EV14,, EM1, EM2, EM4 & EM5
Housing Policies : HG1, HG3, HG4, HG5, HG6, HG7, HG8 & HG9
Transport Policies : TR1, TR2, TR3, TR4, TR5 & TR6
Retail Policies : SH1, SH2, SH4, SH5, SH7, SH8 & SH9
Recreation Policies : RC1, RC2, RC3, RC4, RC5, RC6, RC8 & RC9
The following policies in the Ashfield Local Plan Review, Adopted November 2002, expired on 27th September 2007 and no longer form part of the development plan for the District.
Environment Policies : EV3, EV7, EV9, EV12, EV13, EV15, EV16, EV17, EV18, EM3, EM6 & EM7
Housing Policies : HG2
Retail Policies : SH3, SH6 & SH10
Recreation Policies : RC7
However, the emphasis of these policies will be covered by planning guidance/policies within the National Planning Policy in the form of Planning Policy Statements/Planning Policy Guidance Notes, the Regional Spatial Strategy and The Nottinghamshire and Nottingham Joint Structure Plan February 2006
