||This nature conservation strategy is the first of its kind to be prepared for Ashfield District Council, and follows a commitment by the Council to develop such a Strategy during preparation of the Ashfield Local Plan Review.
It is intended as a guide to inform the actions of the council in relation to nature conservation and biodiversity issues, and to provide a basis against which future actions can be considered, implemented and monitored.
