Duty Planner

The Duty Planner is available to answer your planning queries.  If you would like to speak to, or visit the Duty Planner in the main council offices in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, you can do so during the following hours.

Monday9:00 - 13:00
Tuesday9:00 - 13:00
Wednesday9:30 - 13:00
Thursday13:00 - 16:30
Friday13:00 - 16:30

For telephone contact please call Customer Services on 01623 45000.  If the Duty Officer is not immediately available Customer Services will pass a message onto the relevant officer.  The Duty Planner can also be contacted by e-mail at dutyplanner@ashfield-dc.gov.uk It is our intention to provide an initial response to messages within one working day.

Advice on the last two items should be sought by arranging a meeting with the case officer who has dealt with the application or appeal. If you wish to speak to a specific officer regarding a planning application then please make an appointment to see the officer.

Any advice given by the Duty Planner does not indicate any formal decision by the Council as local planning authority. Any views or opinions expressed are given in good faith and to the best of ability, without prejudice to the formal consideration of any planning application following statutory public consultation, the issues raised and evaluation of all available information.
