Public house. C17 with mid C19 extensions and C20 alterations. Rendered, with steep pitched and catslide pantile roofs. Projecting quoins, dentilated eaves, coped gables, two of them with shaped kneelers. Single gable and two ridge stacks. Three storeys, three bays, two parallel ranges plus rear additions.
South front has two 3-light stone mullion windows to first floor flanking single-light window and two 2-light stone mullion windows to the attic. Mid C20 central doorway flanked by single triple sashes. 3/3 sash to upper left. South east corner, to right, splayed and corbelled. Ends and rear additions have all late C19 and late C20 fenestration.
Interior - Front 1st floor bedrooms have bridging beams and joists. From first floor to attic there is an open-well staircase with splat balusters. Attic rooms have lime ash floors. Roof above retains heavy purlins.
