Opportunity Register

||
The main purpose of the Opportunity Register is to compile a list of individuals and companies who are interested in buying empty properties (which have usually been Compulsorily Purchased) from the council and bringing them back into use.

January 2010 - The Opportunity Register is currently under review.

Details of the property, works needed and the price can be sent to you upon request. Please contact us to obtain this information.

You will need to formally tender for this project stating the works you would carry out, the projected costings, and your future intentions for the property. If you decide to tender, you will be asked to provide three years of accounts (in the case of companies) or a guarantee from your bank or building society (in the case of individuals), to ensure that you are financially able to carry out the proposed project. You will also be asked to attend an evaluation interview as part of the tender process.

To register

If you own an empty property and would like details of the property to be passed onto people on the Opportunity Register, please contact us.

If you are a landlord and are interested in joining the Opportunity Register, contact us for an application form and return it the council offices.

Once approved, your details will be placed on the register and you will be notified.
