||Ashfield District Council have worked with partners in industry to provide young people in Ashfield with an understanding of Ashfield's principal businesses (textiles and engineering).
The Partnership in Engineering with Schools (PIES) and Textiles in Partnership with Schools (TIPS) projects link young people to businesses, where they are able to design and develop a prototype product to gain an appreciation of the processes involved.
